I think using Acadly discussions for students to respond in-class gave them confidence that their ideas or thoughts had merit. Using polls in this course format was also really useful to gauge the students opinions on a topic.

I used Acadly to take attendance, asked multiple choice poll questions and conducted discussions... students agreed that Acadly facilitated learning and engagement and helped them participate in the large lecture class in a less stressful/anxiety-producing manner.
